jibjib 1.0.14 is finally released after 5 days of massive release, a version per day or less. Birdnest works well but we are encountering the specific problem at Google App Engine which introduced more 50x error due to timeout or time limit. @wiennat is working hard to run birdnest somewhere outside GAE by porting to web.py. If you don't want to get 50x so often sometimes, you may switch gateway back to http://twitter.com/.

This version introduces new features and fixed some bugs.

  • Favorites timeline
  • Favorite/unfavorite any tweet by one click
  • Handle unexpected error nicely

And I am working to add TwitPic support. As always, I recommend to upgrade.
