It is about 6 months since the first BarCampBangkok so now we should make it happen again with a lot more fun. We are discussing about the details for BarCamp Bangkok 2 in a very long thread and we now have good progress. Below is my summary from that thread.

  • Date: August 30, 2008
  • Venue: Chulalongkorn University

Above summaries are subjected to change. Do not trust me.

Repeat again: Both date and venue above are subjected to change if need. However, from now on, we have only 6 weeks before August 30, 2008 which is such a good day and we should stick to this day as long as it is possible.

Today I start the first step of preparation just like I did for last BarCamp Bangkok. The first step is to have website for this event for easily reference later by anyone else.

  • Official BarCamp Bangkok 2
  • Wiki

And the second step is to define tags.

  • BarCampBangkok
  • BarCampBkk2

Please tag everything regarding BarCamp Bangkok 2 by one or both tags.

And the third step is to find sponsors. If you are willing to sponsor this event, please contact any organizers.

Since both date and venue does not settle yet, I do not recommend anyone to register right now unless you know what you are doing.

I'll be there for sure this time. I regret missing the first one I heard it was great.
