I tried to keep quiet for 4 days since the first blog about BarCampBkk2 to prevent mentioning to the registration page. After 4 days, there are 103 registrants. This number amazes me a lot. I do not have time to check the registrants with the last time registrants so I have no idea where they came from. Please read below sentence carefully.

The venue has not been confirmed yet.

Anyway, I am afraid that we go too far. I do not want to close the registration page to stop this too fast early bird registration. So the only one choice now is to open the registration page officially.

register now!

To handle a huge number of participants, we need more more and more sponsors. What we need are as follows.

  1. T-shirts
  2. Lunch
  3. Signs
  4. Supplies

And the estimated number of participants are roughly 400 and another 50 staffs.

Another idea popped out yesterday in IRC. Why don't we have 2 days camp? This is not overnight. Being overnight introduces so many complicated problems regarding venue restrictions. We may stop all sessions in the evening and continue to hang out together somewhere nearby. The second day we may have more fun after party last night.

Caution: All you read above is just my opinion or opinions I saw in Twitter. Don't trust me. If you followed @sugree, you will understand what I mean.
