The first absent

Today is my bad day. I really mean that. In my academic life since 3 years kindergarten, 12 years K12, 4 years undergrad and 2 years master, I have never absented from any classes. Never. But I skipped a lot of them because of many reasons. Anyway, all my skips were not counted as absent so I have never used absent form.

Even I was sick, I went to school. I am happy to die at school instead of sleeping at home.

Today my son has the first absent in primary school. Honestly, I do not want him to absent but I cannot control. Probably today is a good day for him to face the truth and to learn from pain.

School is not the place you go for studying. School is the place you live.
Home is not the place you live. Home is the place you go for sleeping.

I'm against Thai educational system and have no faith in it. I got a different vision. School is just a part of education and social life. Important but not mandatory. However, attend a class is responsibility and it's necessary.
