Yesterday afternoon, I opened the registration page for BarCamp Bangkok Winter 2008. As of now after about 26 hours, we have 59 campers. I don't know what you think but for me, this number already exceeds my expectation last month.

This event will happen in next 3 weeks but we need to fix the amount of participants to prepare other factors, e.g., t-shirts and foods. What does it mean? We suppose to have not more than 100 campers. Actually, we have only 3 rooms for 3 parallel sessions. The actual time slot is 20 minutes per session in 7 hours. In contrast, there is only 21*3 = 63 sessions waiting for us at BarCamp Bangkok. Fortunately, some of them are couples and some of them would like to listen and back to blog at home.

One thing to concern is the register rate. By this rate, we will reach the limit on Monday. If you want to join us at BarCamp Bangkok, please register to reserve your seat as soon as possible.

Even though you don't need to lead your own session, you are encouraged to lead one. Not only for higher-level of participation but also for your own benefits. Don't be shy. We all are keen to learn and practice. I believe that everybody has something valuable in their mind. Please share what you think and you will get more returns.

See you in BarCamp Bangkok. soon.
