Today is the three days after announced BarCamp Bangkok Winter 2008 on last Friday afternoon. I posted about it again after one day. As of now, there are 157 campers. Cool! I have never imagined to see this number and this is only 3 days! BarCamp Bangkok might be one of the most funny BarCamp ever. Should I call that good news? Anyway, I have some bad news too.

I have to tell all of you about some facts. Last week, I estimated to have maximum 100 campers in the first BarCamp Bangkok. 100 was the maximum. But after one day, my thought changed.

  • Soft limit is 100
  • Hard limit is 150

Sadly, we just reached the hard limit again in this evening. All organizers would not like to cut it off immediately. Our sponsors are willing to pay more. But BarCamp should not be too large. As a result, I will open registration form until the real hard limit, 175. If you are still thinking, considering, anything, please hurry up. At this rate, I am afraid to reach 175 campers tomorrow morning or afternoon. Please understand us. We try our best to prevent "no space left on device" problem. For anyone who want to give us sponsors, please contact organizers for more information.

Good luck and see all you at Indus Restaurant soon.
