I was almost 6 months after last upgrading from Hardy to Intrepid. Now it is the time for Jaunty.

I downloaded daily alternate cd iso via jigdo and then run cdromupgrade. After waited 1 hour and 20 minutes, Jaunty is here with me.

As of now, I found 2 bugs.

  1. Pidgin may eat cpu up to 99% after started for a while. To solve this problem, just disable Nautilus integration plugin and enable it again.
  2. gnome-keyring doesn't send any private keys to ssh-agent. The bug has been submitted to both lp and gnome.

The first thing I did is to disable libnotify plugin in Pidgin. It is real annoying. I noticed some strange changes but can't explain now. Probably it is just slightly changes in UI.

Note that Jaunty is still in beta. Don't upgrade if you don't know what you are doing.

Roti (alpha) thinks you may like these:

  • goodbye MJ
  • GOODBYE SUMMER
  • goodbye Toffy

message ของ Pidgin มันเยอะเกินไป ไอ้ notify ตัวใหม่มันเหมาะสำหรับสิ่งสำคัญจริงๆ พวกเมลใหม่ ข้อความใหม่นี่ไม่ควร
