I tried to keep quiet for 4 days since the first blog about BarCampBkk2 to prevent mentioning to the registration page. After 4 days, there are 103 registrants. This number amazes me a lot. I do not have time to check the registrants with the last time registrants so I have no idea where they came from. Please read below sentence carefully.
The venue has not been confirmed yet.
Anyway, I am afraid that we go too far. I do not want to close the registration page to stop this too fast early bird registration. So the only one choice now is to open the registration page officially.
It is about 6 months since the first BarCampBangkok so now we should make it happen again with a lot more fun. We are discussing about the details for BarCamp Bangkok 2 in a very long thread and we now have good progress. Below is my summary from that thread.
- Date: August 30, 2008
- Venue: Chulalongkorn University
Above summaries are subjected to change. Do not trust me.
After living with Twitter for a while, I always want to track, collect, query or bind relevance tweets together by some mechanisms. Jaiku solves this problem by introducing channel. There is no such channel in Twitter. Actually, Twitter has something far beyond channel called Hashtags. Moreover, this world has @eventtrack! Combinding @eventrack and Hashtags result as the great tool to track everything you want, not just only channel.
