Mitter 0.4.5 has been released for a while but I just have time to make the deb package at PPA. Please follow instruction to install if this is your first time to try.

My PPA has been signed now! Please checkout PPAKeys for more details. This change effects both Mitter and microblog-purple.

Please update sources.list and import my key.

After a long period, I just built packages of microblog-purple and Mitter for Ubuntu in Personal Package Archive. PPA is a kind of personal repository for apt-get hosted at launchpad.net. As a result, you just need to add below lines to /etc/apt/sources.list.

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/sugree/ubuntu hardy main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/sugree/ubuntu hardy main

And simply run apt-get to install.

sudo apt-get install mitter

or

sudo apt-get install pidgin-microblog

After spending a few days with GetDeb, I has successfully compiled Mitter on GetDeb and uploaded to the front page. The main page is available at below url.

Bookmark it! The current stable is 0.3.2.2. It is available in both 32 bit and 64 bit.
