After came back from Penang for PRAGMA, I roughly calculated the cost of my GPRS international roaming at Penang via jibjib. The statistics collected by my phone were as follows.

• Sent: 100,426 bytes
• Received: 155,471 bytes
• Time: 2:19:27 in 6 days

Today I have just received the bill.

Finally I made it! Yesterday I uploaded all photos taken in 6 days during trip to Penang for PRAGMA 15. There are totally 1,492 photos and 2 videos in PRAGMA Collection.

I separated this large collection into 6 sets for 6 days. Please do not expect superior quality photos. My camera is a compact Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T20 and I did not retouch them at all.

This Penang trip I tried to keep track wherever I go in Google Maps in case I will go there again. So I will know where I should not go ;)

In short, after improving jibjib to reduce bandwidth usage and tested in real world at Penang, this is the right time to summary some statistics.

Both offer GPRS at 0.48 baht per 1 KB. Roughly calculation returns (100426+155471)/1024*0.48 = 119.52 baht.
