Yes, it is another 6 months. Maverick is almost ready and I cannot wait any longer. Last night I came back home early to download whatever maverick to upgrade my lucid laptop. Note that I have only one laptop and it must always work fine since I have to do my jobs on this laptop regularly 24/7.

The problem is just a line in /etc/fstab.

Simply remove it. Another change is /etc/udev/rules.d. It has been moved to /lib/udev/rules.d. Below is 51-android.rules for hTC Magic.

Last night I upgraded my laptop from Ubuntu 9.10 to 10.04 by daily alternate disc. It is scheduled to release final version official on April 29, 2010. This update should be very close to the official one. There were no issues during upgrade. It ran so smooth. The real story began after reboot.
